MILITARY BANNERS

Edinburg Township is sponsoring a new MILITARY BANNER program.

The cost is $50.00 to participate, for which you will be able to purchase a 2' x 4' banner with picture of a military Veteran, that will be flown on the township telephone poles.


We will be accepting orders now and print and hang the banners as soon as possible.


Any interested resident should contact Chris Diehl, 330-281-1348, 

You will need to provide a clear picture or a digital image of family member, name, year(s) of service, military brand, and awards if any, for printing of the banner.


NOTICE TO BIDDERS
(Road Maintenance Materials) 
Sealed bids will be received on or before Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 by the Edinburg Township Trustees, at the office of the Fiscal Officer, Bill McCluskey, at PO Box 485, Rootstown, Ohio 44272 and at the Edinburg Township Road Department, located at 6856 Tallmadge Rd.  Rootstown, Ohio 44272, until 12:00 noon for the furnishing of any or all of the following types of road maintenance materials for the 2025 season ending September 30, 2025:
MC3000 applied including spreading of aggregate as specified on bid form. All of the materials must meet the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation. Bid specifications may be obtained by contacting Kevin Biltz at 330-325-7783.Bid acceptance will be awarded to the lowest and best bidders.  The Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Opening of the bids will be held at 7:30PM on Thursday, May 8th at the Edinburg Township Town Hall. The bids must be "SEALED" and plainly marked "BID ENCLOSED". By the order of the Edinburg Township Trustees​​.

Edinburg Clean-up Day - Residents Only

Edinburg Cleanup Day is Friday, May 2nd from 8:00 am - 11:30 am & 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm and Saturday, May 3rd from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Edinburg Clean-up Day is for Edinburg residents only and for residential trash only. This Cleanup is NOT for commercial or large agricultural use. No Animal waste. Please haul your materials in Cars, Pickups and small trailers. We reserve the right to refuse any unacceptable materials such as but not limited to; TV’s, paint, computer monitors, tires,  and round bail bags.

Want to show you support for the Township Parks and recreation?

We are always looking for committee members and/or volunteers for help with events in the township,

such as the Memorial Parade and Trunk or treat and other projects in the township.

The Park and Recreation Advisory Committee "generally" meets at 7:30 pm the first Wednesday of the month at the Administration Building.
